Do you think that people who are against gays are really gay themselves?

Gay-haters are usually repressed homosexuals themselves. What do you think?

No they aren't homosexuals themselves. I'm not against the person themselves as I am against the lifestyle. It's more than a moral issue.

I understand if someone is against the LIFESTYLE due to upbringing, religious beliefs ect.
However, what I'm talking about is those that have an insane, unreasonable hatered.
The first one will respond with "yeah, it's not god's plan", ect. (Love the sinner, hate the sin, yeah, yeah)
The one with unreasonable hate, will get red in the face, and start screaming and foaming at the mouth, with a vien popping in thier forhead. Claming how sick and horrible gay men are. Will often write off a freind or family member who is a male homosexual,and/or get physically violent with them.
Oddly enough, these same men seem to like lipstick lesbians. Hypocrites.

Double standards, those kind of straight men piss me off. They will bash the guy because he is gay but likes seeing 2 chicks getting it on. They dont live the lifestyle and dont know what these people go through. I think it is absolutely repulsive that a man will have double standards like that just to get himself off.

Well yes sometimes its really embarassing to face a gay person, but then that is his preference and you got no right to hate him for his attraction and his personal priorities

I think that people can be just bigoted for no reason at all, and maybe yes, they are repressed or they have tried it themselves and are embarassed by it. There is just too much hate for no reason.

I don't really think that's true. I mean, I'm sure that's the case sometimes, but it can't possibly be as common as all that. I think that gay-haters are usually just really sheltered people who have very old-fashioned and stubborn viewpoints. People who openly HATE gay people most likely feel very threatened by them. Why? I can't say. I'm sure it's a different situation for each and every person. Some people are gay-bashers because their parents and friends are, and it's not even really their own opinion. It's a very touchy subject, and one that I don't think has a particularly defined answer.
