Do you send MMS?

mms - Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS, is a telecommunications standard for sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text).

Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS, is a telecommunications standard for sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text). I have never sent MMS as I canceled GPRS from my phone provider. As I don't like I will be charged unnecessary and unreasonable fee for GPRS, especially for the service I have never used. Occasionally I will receive MMS from others, but I can't open it since there is no GPRS.

Well, I use then from time to time. It is much much cheaper than using SMS if the messages you send are long. I can like squeeze about 4 SMS messages into one MMS and pay nothing for it. This is because due to competition among the telcos, lots of MMS is bundled into the phone contracts you signed to encourage their usage. But it still doesn't catch on. I just cannot figure out why.

I've never done this before. I rarely even send regular text messages. Occasionally my step-daughter and I will text back and forth, but that's only on rare occasions. The rest of the time we'll just talk.

I don't actually send MMS at all because I think it will charge me a certain amount to send MMS. People send MMS to me though and I would take a look. But sometimes I think the file is too "large" and it takes awhile before my phone could react to it.

I still have the GPRS on my mobile but have never sent any MMS for I never felt like sending one. May be I have my computer and can send and all via email and therefore have not cared to do so. Or else perhaps I would. Besides the teen aged one are more interested in sending and receiving MMS.

i seldom send MMS to my friends ,but the service i get from china mobile everyday enables me to be able to receive some MMSs from china mobile ,so i think it is convenient to have the function of GPRS,though it takes me 3 yuan per month .and also i could receive some MMSs from my friends.

Now it is 3G,haha, i mean, telecom operators now would earn more money. I had joined in a package of grps fee of 2M capacity monthly, and i spent it on the website, seeing the movie. I seldom send mms, because it is expensive and i have no picture send.

In fact I haven't tried 3G yet, it is not necessary for me to pay for extra money for the feature I don't use.

I don't like sending SMS except in rare cases. I am feel this as very boring as we need to key in the texts using a small keys and for me it is a time consuming. For this time, just I will make the call to the concerned recipient and talk. But if need some proof or records of something, I will send them through SMS and I will keep the sent item for future reference.
