I'm an I.T. student, but computer troubleshooting has always been my weakness.
My computer keeps freezing, so I often have to restart my computer.
I've done everything i could think of.
Reformatting and reinstalling my O.S. didn't do the trick.
It's also not because of a virus.
There's no problem with the registry as well..
I think it has something to do with the hardware, maybe something needs to be replaced, or maybe some of the components aren't compatible, but i don't really have the budget to have it fixed right now..
Does anyone know how i can stop it from freezing, or at least lessen it?
Is there a software i could install to prevent freezing?
Or at least a way to prevent it?
Anything...
I'm desperate (T_T)
please help me.
Any ideas would be appreciated..
THANK YOU! :)

Its always the memory problem, my friend!! Check your RAM.. See its configuration.. You OS maybe fine, but it needs a minimum amount of configuration on ur RAM if it has to function properly.. TRy to get a bigger RAM, say atleat a 1GB RAM or 512 MB one.. Most OS need a minimum of these nowadays..

If your computer hangs in between.Better check if your RAM is working properly. You can remove the RAM from the Mother Board and clean it and insert it.Then try again if its working properly. If not get a RAM from your friends PC and check if its working properly.Thereby you can find the fault. If thats the case then replace your RAM.I hope this idea would help you.
