The problem of graft and corruption had become deeply ingrained in our society. As a private citizen what simple action can you do so as NOT to promote or add to graft and corruption? For my family, we refuse to bribe the traffic policemen, even when they expressly suggest that we do to save us from "hassle" and bigger expense. We just ask for citation ticket, although once they realize they can't extract bribe money from us, they just let us go.

I guess you are right about that. For this to stop it should start from us individuals and as you continue on this practice it will slowly spread by example. Sometimes the saying "Walk the Talk" means. It simply means you practice what you want to do with your life.

you know what? even within our family, graft and corruption is happening! so i suggest that we start within ourselves. for me, we should follow the saying "business is business" because even in borrowing money graft and corruption happens. for example is when you borrow money from your sister and you gave her back not the exact amount, it happens there. it is why even politicians that are relatives get in to problems about money. others learn how to be greedy on work because they learned it at home. so that is my suggestion. it is sad that graft and corruption really started within our homes but it is true.
