Do you like bread bowls?

Do you like the bread bowls where the center is hollowed out and some dip is put into the center? Then you dip the delicious bread into the dip and enjoy...
I love these and I AM SO craving some right now.
What is your favorite type of bread? Many people like pumpernickel, but I like the whole wheat best. What's your favorite place to buy the bread bowls? Do you prefer to make them yourself or buy them pre-made?

Here in the Philippines, bread bowls are usually used for Clam chowder soup or some other kind of soup. It's really interesting. 
Whole wheat bread is usually used here and I think it's quite hard to make them myself. LOL!
I think I would rather buy and go straight to enjoying myself.

Oh, I love breadbowls! My boyfriend and I just had one the other night with a creamy seafood dip. I'm going to Panera today, I might just have to get a bread bowl while I'm there now just because you got me thinking about them.

I don't know what a bread bowl is, I never saw one before. My favorite bread, I don't oh yes I do I love crusty bread and baguettes the best. I love them with garlic too, I just can't seem to get enough of garlic bread.

I'm not a big bread person, I like the bread bowls with soup in them, those are good. I've never tried to make them but I'll gladly hand over money to the place that does.
