Have you ever just picked up and moved away??

Okay, so this may seem crazy but I am curious as to if any of you have ever just picked up your family and moved far away. I have been going through this spell where I just wish I could find a job somewhere else, load my husband and kids up and move away. It isn't because there is anything or anyone that I am wanting to get away from it is simply because I am sick of seeing the same ole territory. I know that there is so much more in this world to see than the dreary ole Northwest corner of Ohio, in which I live. I have been seriously considering moving south, somewhere like Georgia, Florida, North/South Carolina but then I think that once being there I would miss all my friends and family from Ohio. My mom is the main reason I don't want to leave Ohio and the fact that two of my kids say heck no, they don't want to move. Maybe it is just that I need a vacation. My children are 14, 12 and 10 and have never been on a vacation, geesh, how I wish it were afordable to go on a vacation...ugh. Anyhow, without rambling on anymore, I want to know, have you ever picked up your family and belongings and moved away??? If you did, where did you move from and where did you go? Did you get a job lined up before you left?? Did you have kids when you moved, if so, how did they handle it, did they want to go?? Are you still living where you moved to??
