Are psychic abilities real???

I do believe there are those who have real abilities. However, I think there are many more who pretend to have these abilities and use it to scam people. Perhaps I'm a bit Harry Houdini on this issue, but I think there are far more charlottons then real ones. Namaste-Anora

I do believe that there are people with such gifts but they are rare and I think there are so many out there who deceive by claiming to have such abilities in order to make money. When I was younger I visited many psychics, clairvoyants and the like but only one amazed me with the information she passed onto me; it wasn't so much her predictions, which have all come true by the way, but what she knew about me, she described my personality very accurately and she had never met me before! Psychic abilities are definitely a gift. I read somewhere that we all have them and it is a matter of learning how to develop them; I'm not so sure about that. I just wish there weren't so many fakes out there.
