Do you ever just get in your car & drive? Where? Why?

How many of you just get in your car and drive? Maybe you dont have a destination in mind? Maybe you do? Do you like to get in your car and drive? Or do you have to have a to and from to do so?
Me, I LOVE to drive. I dont care if its just around the corner to drop the kids off at school or its a day trip to Orlando. I have on occasion just gotten in the car to do normal things, like wash the car, and ended up in another county. I went to go to a carwash and decided the one close to my house wasnt good enough so I drove to a different county about 45 mintues out just to find a new carwash. lol. I guess sometimes I get bored.
Sometimes I have a place to go and sometimes I am just out to drive around. I take my camera with me and the kids when they are with me (usually) take theirs as well and we all take misc pictures of the traffic or trees and people or little things like shoes and stuff and then get home and compare what we saw. Gives us something to do.......

I have a tendancy to do this most weeks. I find that if I take a few good cd's and a pack of smokes I'm happy for a few hours.
I usually just follow country roads to see where I end up, it gets a little more fun with a few cars though. Take it in turns to figure out which way to go. Has produced some interesting drives to date.

Driving is one of my passion. There have several times I have driven without having a destination in my mind. Its like, shall I turn left or shall I turn right. Fine I'll turn right this time and its like let me go where the road leads me to sometimes.
