Do you like to respond on discussions with a lot of responses already?

I respond on anything that I find interesting. It doesn't make any difference to me how many responses a discussion already has received. If I have something i want to add then I respond just the same. Last week I responded on a discussion which was three years old and my response was number 891 !! That was a real pleasure to have responded there too, on one of the oldest discussions here on myLot

Hey there! I do respond to discussions with many responses already as well as to those witn minimal to none. As long as the discussion interests me and when I feel that I can contribute to the discussion I respond to it. I don't care if it has many responses or not. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

I do tend to respond to some discussions with many responses, because then I can respond to what other people say. I havent been doing it as much as I used to, but I am getting back into it. I like reading what other people think on a discussion, but then I also like giving my opinion on ones that don't have many responses.

I think it is a challenge to come to a hot discussion with many responses. I would like to be seen as one of the responders in a discussion that has attracted many responders. There are many advantages when you response to that kind of discussions as you'll meet many mylotters whom you have never seen before and sometimes you make new friends.

for me, i do respond to a discussion if i like the topic, whether it already has many responses, or no response at all.

Depends on the discussion topic, really. Sometimes I go through spurts where I try to respond to everything, othertimes I focus on responding to new threads. As much fun as the larger threads are, we can't forget the little guys!

I generally don't post somewhere that has a thousand replies already. My response has probably already been said anyway right? Plus, what are the odds of anyone taking the time to read through them all to yours anyway? Very little is how much.

the number of responses doesn't matter to me much. i respond to discussions that i feel i have something to say. whether no one or many responded doesn't change the way i feel. also, i think it's interesting to know what percentage of the mylot population is feeling certain way. at least if i start a discussion that's what i want to know too. last but no least, i'm sure the discussion starter reads every response.

Hi yAKs89, It depends on what the discussion is about...if interesting I'll read all the responses received to make certain that no one has written what I am thinking...many times I've found that someone out there is thinking just like me and sometimes not...I'll give my input especially if it's a controversial post. I guess to me it really doesn't matter how many responses there are. I don't read every one of them so sometimes I am afraid that I might be repeating the same thing that someone else already mentioned. If it is a topic that interests me then I respond.

Well this discussion already has 38 responses and here I am! If I am interested in the topic I will reply regardless of how many have already responded. I would like to think that the author will still read my contribution, I know I would! Some discussions are years old but if any of them appealed to me it wouldn't stop me putting in my 2cents worth!

I would like to response on the discussions with 3 or 4 replies, because I can see all the comments the topic have received. If the comments is too many, I find it's really hard to read all of the replies, and then I decide not to reply. Happy mylotting!

Most probably, no. But, if the question is unique of it's kind and has less than 3 or 4 replies, I'll tend to answer. The 'no response' questions are, mostly 'not worth responding' or 'dont know what to respond' type of questions. I just read them, and jump to the next. There are occasional situations, where I happen to be the only to answer the 'no responses' questions.

That can be waiting for the respondses, because you are very long time to answer the respondses, and some one don't like that

I never pay any attention to the number of responses a discussion has had. I just write on the ones that catch my interest. The sad thing now is that there seems to be fewer and fewer of them.

For me it doesn't matter whether it has a lot of responses already or if im the first one to answer, as long as the subject or question looks interesting to me, i'll definitely respond to it. =)

It doesn't matter to me on the number of responses to discussion I just try and responde to a discussion that I can write a pretty long and good response too so that way it's not really a pointless response. Plus if you write more I've heard that you get paid more so that's my way of responding to discussions.

welll, i dont care wether there a lot or no.if i feel i like the topic and interested to reply it i will respond to it.well there alot of people that read and want to read the discussions, so maybe it's not really matter.But i dont like people that respond to a discussion with spam only not even a single word, for example :smileys, pics, or flash image ..Regards.

I love to respond to such discussions because I like to see if my respond will be commented on or not.

yes of course.. if i see any discussions that a lot have responded, i would say it has ha very interesting topic. then browse and read around ang lastly, post a reply^^.
