If you sometimes catch yourself sitting at your computer, surfing the net and looking for something cool to buy, strive to remain on the safe side of the online consumer world.
When you are shopping online, here are some things to consider, BEFORE you buy: First, know your consumer rights, and beware of all the common scams and complications of an online purchase.
Then as you shop remember to:
• Check the online/protection and security assurances the company offers.
• Comparison shop on the web for the product. You may find it sold for a lower price or with lower shipping and handling fees.
• Know the full business mailing address.
• Be familiar with website security. When a website is secure, a padlock with a closed lock will show up at the bottom of the screen or a little window will pop up saying that the website is secure. When you are filling out forms online, the padlock might show up again and/or the web address will read “https.”
Save all the information relating to your purchase on your computer, or print the transaction pages. When you pay with a credit card, the credit card company often provides some additional protection. Be cautious about giving out any of your personal information; some businesses sell this information to other companies. Once you have paid, the company may ask your permission to share information; you probably want to “opt out” and ask the company to keep your information private.
The online merchant should provide an estimate of when the goods will be mailed and/or received and if no date is specified the product should be shipped in 30 days. These consumer rights do not apply to the sale of land, online auctions, banking, or insurance.

yeah I buy online all the time,
tho I usually go to the high street have a look at the item I want to buy then go online as you can save alot of money by shopping online
also its alot less hassel let the postman delivery it instead of me having to fight to the shops

I buy everything online from mobile phones to cars tv's everything that is a decent value, as you can get better deals online. Tho will have a look at the high street first and make sure I like what I am buying then I go online and buy it there and save money from the hiugh street.

I do sometimes buy things from websites. I like to get things on E bay for example. I might search on the Internet for something that I need then I will buy it. Recently I heard some bad press about a company that sells things for babies and young children. They have taken some people's money but then got given them the goods that they have paid for. That company was shown on television lately and it must have made lots of people wary of shopping with them. Last month I bought my teenage son a disk for his laptop. It was a Total War Game. Unfortunately it didn't work but the seller won't accept returns after 48 hours. So next time I will read the terms and conditions before buying off the net.

I used to buy a book on the "taobao",i feel shopping online is not bad,it's easy,convenient,and fast.A lot of my good friends always buy things online,they prefer it to shopping at downtown on summer and winter

I only buy items through ebay. I pay them through paypal. There are so many cheap and good items sold on this site. Here's a tip, when you buy on ebay, try to buy several items (things you need) from one seller. This way, you can save on shipping through their combined shipping.

yeah i buy many products online.
they all are quite good in quality
only once i faced problem when i got my watch but the glass of my watch was broken.
