Have you prayed sincerely to God about it? Then i guess God must have given you his answer but you haven't figured out that it's been there all along. Sometimes we pray and wait for God to answer our prayers and to our dismay we will do our way to please ourselves. But since you are confuse about what to decide for, if you will choose to go on and serve God for the calling or you will have to work to help your parents, am i right? Well i guess if you were called to be a Pastor, you definitely know that there will be more hardship to bear. This is a calling that you yourself can figure out. I don't seem to have a problem if you continue with it. God is faithful, and He will supply the needs of you and your family as long as you have to obey His words and continue to persevere. Being a follower of Christ is not easy. Remember that our enemy is always targeting us. And no matter how hard your struggle will be, God will always be there for us. Press on my friend, focus your eyes on our Savior Jesus Christ. I am sure that this task is worthy to chose.

You don’t say as to whether your parents are elderly or sick, or what the need is for you to take care for them. That information would be helpful for us to know. When you pray – you must be patient, Some prayers come after much waiting for the answer. You also might want to share what “position” it is that you are wanting to fulfill within your church too. A little extra information would help us more, as to share advice with you. For one thing, the Bible says that God is NOT the author of confusion, but of peace - - so I would do “nothing” until I had a clear direction from the Lord on this. I have a once a month Bible study that I send out the first of each month. It is not from a church denomination’s perspective, but just what the Bible says. I also share some of my thoughts, and encourage the folks who receive it to ask questions and visit with me about the lessons, if they’d like to. If you’re interested, you may email me at: daystar@dcemail.com {Please put “Bible Study” in the subject line} so I won’t delete your email. You can drop out at any time. Classy Cat

Hi, pinetree! You should try to remain faithful to your parents. God honors this. You will know when you hear from God. God is very positive and he knows what is right. He makes no mistakes. Although we do. Just pray about it sincerly, and ask God to show you the way that he wants you to be at. In time, he will give you the answer. Just be patient. He will never fail you. Just listen to your heart and what God desires for your life. If something is really from God, you will know it, it will feel right!
