I have a friend that her daughter will be graduating this March and receiving an award with honors.I was happy when a friend of mine told me about this, she was so proud for the achievement of her daugther. As a parent i am wishing also that my kids would be like this and not expecting too much and i am happy and contented as long as my kids would finish their studies and having a good career ahead.

Yes brother. One of the greatest blessings from God to His children is for the parents to see their children finish their studies, respectful and obedient children, God fearing and has a true wisdom of who gave these all knowledge to them. Cheer up Bro..

The parents must be very proud of their daughter specially that she has awards and honors. It's a great achievement for the parents also to have a child like that after sending their child to school and provided her of all what she needed for her studies. It's the fruit of their labor. Even without honors, the parents should show that they are proud of their child having graduated and finished schooling.

Its nice to see your children graduating with honor. Not all children do have honors like that so it is an honor to parents. But each child has his own mental capability. You are right, we should not expect too much from our kids but let us encourage them to make good in their studies so that they could give their best and get the best out of it. Its a happy feeling to see our children marching toward the stage and receiving their diploma. All the more when they stand out from the rest and get honors to their name. Congratulations to your friend for the honors of her daughter!

My son is getting ready to start his Alevel course in september he only needs to pass maths at C or above in his GCSE almost there,he did it himself with encouragement from us.I always say do your best and thats good enough for us,just make sure it is good enough for you.We all hope our kids do well in education but it is in their own hands to a certain degree. What will be will be,it won't stop me being so proud of him and still love him with a D or an A result.xxx
