Over the weekend I decided I needed to call the doctors office about a problem. Driving home Monday after dropping the kids at school I was thinking about the call I needed to make and thinking, "No matter what I just want God to be glorified in my life."
The past month I've been trying to do my Bible reading as soon as I get back from dropping the kids off, so I sat down with my Bible and began to read. My book mark was at Philippians 1:12 and as I read I was suddenly stopped in my tracks! What did I just read? Verse 20 says, "I eargerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death." I realized that this is basicly what I was thinking about driving home. I just looked up and said, "God, you are amazing!"
I wasn't looking for a verse of encouragement. I didn't just let my Bible fall open and find this verse. This was part of my daily Bible reading on the day that I needed it. God knew when I would need to read it and had guided my reading over the past month to bring to that place at the right time.
Can you share a "God you are amazing" moment?

Amazing....God really works in many ways. I'll share a story where God never fails. My boyfriend and I broke up last year, I think that was June..without saying anything, he just poof..and I don't know why...for 3 months I suffered from crying and praying...praying for the reason why my boyfriend did that. It was a hard time for me but after 3 months..He communicated again...and he said the reason why he left all of a sudden...I almost feel hopeless that time...and suddenly reading the article of Bo Sanchez about Proverbs 3:5......God is really amazing....

God has done so many miracles in my life. I would like to tell one such incident which happened when I was a kid. My Dad was driving the car and I sat in the front passenger seat. My Mom and my brother were seated in the rear seats. We were traveling from our native place to the place we live in southern part of India. We drove during the night. Somewhere near halfway, the car head lights started to dim and my Dad was following a white car in front. While following the car in front, we could see the car speeding away. Suddenly my Dad noticed there was a sharp turn and tried to control the car. The car spun, went across the road and was stopped by a bush on the other side of the road. Few seconds later we saw two buses speeding past us. After about couple of minutes two more buses saw our car in the bus and helped us. If there was no bush on the other side of the road, we would have fallen on the large pit behind the bush. Also if we were late by a few seconds, we would have been run over by the first set of speeding buses. It is the Lord's grace, that we are alive today. I really thank the Lord for his loving kindness.

Yes, we do serve an amazing God. I have been out of work since June of last year. All of my bills are behind and threats of court are pending as well as shut off notices. Last Thursday when I went to choir rehearsal, I was in a real funk. One of the songs we were doing was: Our Father, you are holy, we give you glory and we bless your name.
After singing those words over and over for a while, I was released of my stress and depression. I left choir rehearsal feeling great. When I got home, my problems were still there, same situations.
This pass Monday, I received a financial blessing that I did not expect. "Praise God" I was able to take care of my shut off notice, which was schedule for tomorrow, and take care of a few other bills. I am not out of the water, but I am so thankful for what God has done for me.
Thanks for this discussion, I needed it.
