Pelosi says enforcing immigration laws Un-american

Well we all knew she was pro illegal immigration. So this should really not come as shock to any of you. So she basically gave a speech about how deporting illegals is un-american. If you want to read the whole thing here is the link http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/03/18/pelosi-tells-illegal-immigrants-work-site-raids-american/ What you do think of this? How long before we see a bill that stops the already shamefully limited enforcement of this bill? What needs to be done?

Three Iraqi citizens were captured near the U.S./Mexico border a few months ago. There's a link to the full story on www.outragedpatriots.com

The ones responsible for 9/11 did not live in America. The ones who did the destruction were legal green card holders. They were not illegal.

I think that hag Pelosi would gladly kick out 100 honest, hardworking legal immigrants if it meant 1 illegal alien with a criminal record could stay. Scum oozes together.

WOW - does this mean that instead of going through the hassle of all the paperwork etc. to get my British hubby a residents visa so we can live near my kids in the USA all I have to do is bring him in as an illegal and when we get caught just tell them Nancy Pelosi says it is OK for him to be here - just call her and he will get to stay. LOL - Ya I couldn't be that lucky and the thing is my husband is not going to be taking someones job or drawing welfare.

Hmmm. Well my guess is she doesn't want to have hire a legitimate lawn service company or pay taxes on her maid. Just my guess.

This is like reading about the Bizarro world when Superman encounters odd coloured Krypton and it turns everything upside down. The Latino migration is possibly the biggest migration in North American history, certainly in recent history, and such huge numbers will change the society they move into. I know this sounds like "brown peril" thinking, but when this happens there is no control by the host country.

The problem is, she is un-American. She's not bold enough to defend this country from intruders and parasites. Does that sound harsh? It is not, it is patriotic, if you can't obey our laws then don't come here.

I can only hope when they bring us down to third world status, that Ms Pelosi (and all the others) are brought down that low too.

Isn't it amazing how many of our elected officials don't worry about laws being broken? Like the guys who "forgot" to pay income taxes on their huge salaries. Now someone as high in the government as Nancy Pelosi is is advocating rewarding illegals for breaking our laws. I live in Iowa, and the newscasts are still lamenting the poor illegals who were busted in the Postville raid last year. It always kills me when people start demanding "rights" for illegals. Just the fact that they are in our country by having broken the laws should deny them of any rights at all. How many rights are other criminals given? Our government needs to get rid of the existing personnel and start over with a clean slate. Obviously the people in there now don't have much common sense.

Pelosi is un-American.She obviously doesn't care what the people of the United States think. If she did then the government would be enforcing our immigration laws.

Too bad no one seems to have done any research on immigration in this country. The laws are so ridiculous, it is impossible to be legal. Families of legal immigrants are torn apart - mother leave tiny babies in foreign countries while they try to be 'legal'. Then they find out they will never get their children to live with them. I am a legal immigrant who has one child. I have been trying for 7 years to have my child come to live with me legally. I have filled out forms, paid money, money, money - and still we wait. It really is easier to be illegal - one has more rights. I know - give me the American - 'well go home then'. And 85% of legals do go home - they find out home is really better. Do some reading on NAFTA and see what that agreement did to the Mexican agricultural industry. Another example of Americans coming into a country and sucking it dry. If you can't destroy a country with a trade agreement, you invade, occupy, and destroy.

us2owls: I wasn't answering you - I don't know who you are. I guess - I should find some guy to marry me and then we could do the 'gee - you got married thing'. Good idea - so now I guess I am off the the sugar daddy site to find a man...

Ladyluna: I thought we were allowed to state our opinion and views on this site but I guess it is only your opinion that counts. My statements are facts - maybe you should read more. The people who flew those plans on 9/11 were legal immigrants. They had green cards. They entered on students visas. I can't d o anything about your ignorance or xenophobia. I do have a right to say what I want just as you do. You know nothing about me - but you chose to make personal destructive comments. It must be so difficult to have that much hate and anger festering inside. Luckily, my very large group of American friends seem to have views similar to mine as do the (many many) people who voted in the current government. So spew all you want ladyluna. I really don't care what YOU want - you are nothing in my life but I bet you wear red shoelaces. (Wow - did you stay up all night thinking about 'shaping the tapestry of tomorrow'?) As for Republican Talibans, I don't take it back - all one has to do is compare Taliban policy with Republican policy. As for invading, occupying, and destroying - read your history, talk to people out side your trailer park, read the history of other countries, read American foreign policy - learn to back up you information with facts. As for being in America - I am here because they could not find an American with my education and skills that could do my job. My credentials from my country are internationally recognized. (And one day, I will go home - I don't come from a poor country.) Can you say that? I came here legally - I followed the rules - but if I would have come here illegally, I could have had my child with me. There is a reason there are so many illegals - but basically, it is much easier to be illegal than it is to be legal. Your lack of compassion astounds me - but you are probably typical of the culture you were brought up in - sad as that is - they do say the south will rise again....

Dragonlady9947, Are you really so foolish as to believe that you are irreplacable? NO ONE IS IRREPLACEABLE. While your point is partially valid -- I know very little about you: you miss the mark. I do know one certainty about you -- are an ingrate. I don't care what you do, or how well you believe that you do it, you do not deserve the opportunity that millions of foreigners hope and pray for -- the chance to be an American citizen. As a matter of point: your wild assumptions about me, where I hail from, where I live, my familiarity with history, and US foreign policy make you appear exactly as the offensive buffoon that you really are. As a parent your primary responsibility is to your child. So, go home! There are any number of more desireable people who would happily take your place tomorrow!

And why do we call them illegal immigrants? They got here illegally! Very good. They didn't go through the proper citizenship channels. So, does Mrs. Pelosi believe that we should open our shores willy-nilly to anyone and everyone? How do you think 9-11's happen? They don't just happen! The wrong people come into our country, they apply to our schools and get accepted, and they take up chemistry, aviation, and the sciences. Illegal immigrants should be dealt with accordingly. And so should Mrs. Pelosi next year on Nov. 2.

Disgusting, self centered nutcases like Pelosi are interested ONLY in getting more votes. She does not care if a flood of immigration ruins this country and takes more of our already seriously depleted, hard earned income and leaves us barren.
