Is there a way to block someone in Facebook??? Please help!

Well I have lots of friends in face book, and it was really nice to have them here , but some of the friends that i didn't have anything in common just found me in face book and wanted to add me, i did because i can hardly say no to people, it was still ok because they weren't seeing me if i am online or not, but now there is a option that your friends and you see who are online or not.
Is there a way to appear offline like MSN has, If so please let me know, Thank you very much.

Yes you can appear offline. From the bottom bar of the page on the right there are 3 buttons. The last one where there is a silhouette and a green dot (if online) if you press that you can choose to appear offline and it will become red. But this is not like msn, if you're offline you cannot know who is online.

I actually looked for a option to do it and couldn't find now i will do exactly what you said , it is no problem if i see who is online or not so it doesn't matter, i just don't want people see me if i am online. Again thank you so much have a great day!
