I happen to be very good at math lol. I am not a nerd though. I can solve complex problems pretty quickly. My bf is the total opposite. He hates Math and tells me that it gives him a headache lol. How good are you at math? Does 21+32 give you a headache?

I am average when it comes to math. But I remembered being a bit good in the first semester of geometry until our teacher started being brutal by proceeding to second sem. LOL
However, I think I did great in my high school and college Chemistry and Physics although I barely remember any thing about them now. What is FORCE again? :-D
I guess English was my forte with respect to the implied standard at that time. Maybe because it's something I have applied most in my daily life.

I loved maths when I was at school. That was along time ago before the first calculators and we had to do everything in our heads. Many years have passed since then but I am still very quick at basics and sometimes quicker than the calculator at work too

I hate math, lol equations and formulas just got mixed up my brain. I would rather enjoy a science or a history class and way much better if art class. I don't say though that I'm so bad at it, I could say that I'm average, I hate it when it gets so confusing. I've some classmates that were really pretty excellent at it and I just usually get some help from them.

I wasn't great at Maths when I was at school. It was one of the subjects that I didn't like at all. I did well in the subjects that I was interested in. I had the most terrible Maths teacher from the age of 14 years old. He was so rude and used to say to me "if you are too think to understand that I am not going to bother to explain it to you again". These days a teacher might get the sack for saying such nasty stuff.
When I was in my twenties I came home from my trip around the world and had the idea that I wanted to become a primary school teacher. I had the necessary qualifications except for Maths to get onto a degree course and teacher training. I went to evening classes for Maths and had the most excellent teacher that was willing to help me and all his other students do well in Maths. Amazingly I did manage to get a grade C in the exam.
I can happily teach young children Maths. I love teaching Years 1 and 2, that is 5 to 7 year olds. After that the Maths work is not so enjoyable. The answer to your question is 53. People either like Maths or English, I adore English and will always dislike Maths.

I understand where your b/f is coming from. I, too, and mathmatically challenged. Although 21+32 doesn't give me a headache -- the answer is 53 -- when you start bringing letters and symbols into the equation, then it's a migrane in the making. Besides, I only ever have to use, what I call, mickey mouse math in my daily life.

i zone out when i hear of numbers. really. but give me something to read or ask me to verbalize a decision properly and you'd zone out. so extreme are my capabilities that the only thing that kept me in the top class in highschool was my 97% grade in speech versus my 76% grade in math.

i can count!!
haha. and the answer to your math question is 53.
i just see the answer staring out at me. Does that constitute being good in math?
Well for my "o" levels, i got an A2 for my emaths and B3 for my amaths. i think that's pretty good in my point of view.

OMG! I hate math! I'd rather take 10 English subject just to skip Math if that's possible. lol! I'm pretty weak at math. Almost idiotic. I can do simple arithmethic though but never in my lifetime i can solve any trigonometry problems. lol! I'm just glad Trigonometry wasn't included in my curriculum when i shifted course to Psychology from MIS. I did take a lot of statistic courses in Psychology. lol! There's really no escape but i'm glad i survived it. Right now, i'm glad that i won't go through that same path again. lol! Congrats to the new graduates!

I can get by with my maths but it was never a subject I liked even when I was at school. I would say my maths skills are average but I would get a headache if I had to work with number all day long.
All I will say is thank God for calculators and computers to take the headache out of maths

I am okay at Maths, sometimes I am great and sometimes it's just so-so. Although, the subject which I perform best in are Science and English, I also have an interest for Maths, but it is not as great as that of the other two...

how does it matter to you if your bf is not good at maths? there could be things which you are not good at and he is good at. your relationship would not depend on maths but on the trust for each other and understanding.
well, to answer to your question- i ma fair t maths and find it intersting.

No.I'm not good in math but I am trying my best to understand.Every time our teacher is discussing i always ask him if how did he get the answer of his equation.I am really slow in math i can't hardly catch up.For me, math is the most difficult subject for me.

Hi!I was not good at maths at all and dropped the subject when I was in grade11.But now suddenly I have developed an affinity to math.Because I am giving tuitions in math.People wont be phobic towards maths if they are allowed to pick it up in their own sweet time.

Hehehe. i am not that good in math, but I can understand the lessons.
I hate math. I mean, higher math. hehehe. But I love math in some ways.
the answer to the question is 53. If that is not right, then I guess there something behind that equation and I would like to know if there is.
