Well I thought that might get your attention. LOL I am moving at the end of the month and I have a solid wood kitchen table and chair set but it could use a makeover. So I was debating about painting it. Now my sister said I would need to put a primer on it first but then my son said not to paint it cause you wouldn't see all the natural wood grain. So my question is could anyone give me any advice on stripping and staining. Its one of those things that I have never done and I'm so afraid that if I start it I may regret it if its too much. I have heard about a product that 3M sells that you just paint on and leave it and it helps strip the layers. Any feedback would be most appreciated. Thanks
