I am a huge yao ming fan. Not only is he a great player on the court with about 20 points and 10 rebounds but he is very hardworking and doesn't give up as well as quite humble and down to earth. He is an inspiration to many children in china and his dedication and love for the game cannot be taught. He also has lots of innate talent.
Another player that I really like that will be the NBA next year is Ricky Rubio. He will be in the NBA next year and played at a very lofty level in the Olympics and in many peoples eyes will perhaps be a superstar in the NBA.

Dirk Werner Nowitzki is the first international player to have an MVP award. He's definitely the best international player in the league.

I like YAO,not only he come from China but also he is a work-hard player in NBA.I think every player is different in body, talent.YAO is so high in NBA,at the same time,he cant move easily than others, but he moved quickly everytime.some expert said, his speed is unbelievable.
That's why I like Yao,because his attitude to the game,he try his best everytime,he want to win all the time.that's enough

My favorite overseas NBA player is Yao Ming, although his athletic ability is limited,he has good shooting and passing skills and coupled with a good attitude,is a good role model. Another one is Manu Ginobli,a player with exceptional determination and talent who is an asset to the spurs in and out of the playing area.

I guess it would have to Steve Nash. That guy has earned two consecutive NBA MVP. He is able to make his teammates play better basketball when he is in the court. He can also score at his will. Do you remember the time when he can just go inside and score marvelous layups?
I also like some other international players like Gasol, Ginobili, Barbosa, and a lot more. I also appreciate that NBA seems to be a global league now with the additions of great international players.
