Does that happen to you that you got an idea for a discussion on mylot but you are not online and by the time you get a chance to get online, the idea wipes out?
This is a story of my life these days. I can only afford to do mylotting in morning time and I hardly get any idea to start a discussion but as soon as I close my PC. The ideas starts coming in my mind, it gives me a pleasure that I got something for tomorrow but by tomorrow, I would forget each and every thing. Sad but true. I need to write down all the thoughts before it wipes out but I am too lazy to write them down!
So, is it the story for you too or ...?

You have a same habbit as my father. He writes something on the paper whatever available near to him and would search for them in time and that's why we have so many papers on his table. We are afraid of throwing them as one of them could have an important info on it!

It happens to me all the time. Throughout the day I have great ideas and all kind of thoughts but when I get home and go anywhere near the computer, I just go blank.
I guess that is why I start less discussions than I respond to. That is a good idea what you said maybe we should write down our ideas so we don't forget.

Yea but in that case we would need to remember where we put those papers on whch we wrote them and we have to be cautious that we don't write with a pen which ink wipes out after some time!
*frighten*
PS: Alas there is no smiley for *frighten* at mylot!

I am a mylot discussion idea machine, lol, I swear. Lol, I do forget my fair share of good ideas though. I'm on here a lot because this is the only source of income for my fiance and I right now. I'm hoping to find something that will make us more money so we don't have to type so much, but right now I've only found scams or things that you have to have a credit card for. Not that the credit card things aren't good for money, but, lol, you get the idea. Before you log off of the computer take a few minutes to just relax and think, if something comes to mind bring up a type pad and type it in their, save it and voila!

That's is sad but you are not alone. Even I am jobless and dependent on my mylot income for these days. Still I can only work for 4 hours on mylot these days. And to add more towards it that I won't be logging in for tomorrow. Sad but I need to go somwhere with my dad and will be coming back on sunday night!

I have similar cases. With aging, I really feel annoyed by my memory issue. We have a saying, Poor writing is better than good memory. I have a pen and a paper with me all the time. Whenever see or hear something interesting, I would take it down, so that when in front of the screen, I have something to write.

Hi sanuanu, this did happen to me before several times. Sometimes a good idea flashes in my mind and I know it is a nice thread for me to start a new discussion. But firstly, I always take thing for granted that I could remember all the things I want to apply in my new discussion when I am online. Secondly I’m not willing to take the trouble to write down everything that comes to my mind then. And of course I could hardly remember any of them anymore when I get on the internet later on.
Yeah, it is wise for us to write down everything when we come across any good idea for starting a new discussion. We can key it in our cell phone or take a photo of it so that we at least have got some things to refer later.
Happy posting and good luck.

Well my story is somewhat different. I too get only fixed time to appear here and in my off time just get so many ideas. Generally I remember them, but by the time I get online again, all these discussions get rejected as weird. Not by people here, but by me. I am too critical ;)
And if I forget those, well maybe they were not worth remembering. That's how my thinking goes....

LOL yes this happens to me all the time, in fact just the other day I had two fun topics to post, but by the time I got to my computer and logged in I had totally forgot both discussions, and I hate it when that happens because I miss out on not only a great topic, but potential earnings too.

That always happens to me. When am not near the computer oh I can come up with about three different discussion , but as soon as I log in all my ideas for starting a topic goes out the window. I think I will have to take the other advice of the poster and start writing them down on paper.

I don't think I will forget something really meaningful to me. But I always keep a notepad with me, so I can write down some points on it, that really helps if you always forget trivias.

Yes it happened to me a lot of time in the past. Sometimes before I sleep I think about starting some discussions and I forgot about it in the morning. Sometimes I login to myLot to start some discussions, but I forgot them and I will continue to reply to different discussions. I think it is normal thing for me. I come to myLot whenever I get time. Now a days I am trying to be active in myLot because I need to make some extra money as I have lost home trans and some got depromoted in the office and is losing about Rs 3,000 every month.

CELL PHONE VOICE RECORDER
If anyone got a voice recorder cell phone it would be much better, record the whole set of the crossed-mind-story and retrieve it when at the computer. Feeling like much real because it is a live recording during the ideas "dropped" in one's mind.

Yes, this happens all the time. As soon as I sit down at the computer, my mind goes blank. It happens with reviews as well. I especially get great ideas for reviews in the middle of the night, but by morning they are gone into the great big black hole that is somewhere in my mind, lol! It's a good idea to write things like this down. I might start doing that, as it's a shame to lose the ideas when I have them. I'm glad I'm not the only one this happens to. Good luck to you!

That would so frustrating, forgetting reviews. Reviews needs more hard work than mylot discussions. Here you can chat with friends to earn money there you need to be an expert in writting otherwise you will never earn more from them.
I don't do review as I don't think I am good at it.

Hello sanuanu,
Yep it happens to me all the time. Since we are always on the go or at work and stressing out all day, ou brain tends to get overworked, even though our brain needs all the exercise it can get from us lol...
When you came home from work and log on here, you see al the discussion topics swimming on your screen and you tend to get blank on those ideas you are trying to formulate... It happens most of the time for me. And by the time you are ready for bed because you are exhausted and your brain is getting relaxed, that's the time it comes up so many ideas but you are too tired to lift a finger to log in again and start a discussion or to write it down on a paper hahaha... The next thing you knew, you had forgotten what that is and is niggling at the back of your head because you were trying to remember what it is . It just happened to me yesterday... and the entire say today, I can't help but try to recall it but alas! I failed on that memory quest hahaha... must be me getting old
Don't worry sanu, it will come back to you maybe in a few days hee hee... hugs...

well sometimes it does happen to everyone , every one wants to speak to a person or a friend but when he apper he front of them .. the question just slips out of the mind. we sometime be very ambiguous of issues like that. i vividly remember an incident , out my mom asked me to get something from the market. that time i thought the things were too simple to write down. so i kept them in my mind and went to the market , when reached the shop i couldn't recollect what i had to purchase. well such things do happen sometimes. it mainly occurs when we bring some other topic into our mind or when our mind is multitasking...
