What do you think about online marketing to make money?

I have seen so many websites and business opportunities for online marketing as I am sure you may have too. Which ones are worth our time and effort? I am not sure. Has anyone found any that work? I agree with venkataraman_vc, the most challenging part is getting traffic to your website. As long as your business opportunity is legitimate (and there are plenty of them) you will succeed IF YOU GET ENOUGH TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE. I'm not even bothering as of now to promote a business, all I'm doing is generating traffic, which in turn generates more traffic, which in turn..... You get the picture. Traffic is the salt of any business, so I would focus on that first.

I agree.
Marketing is the name of the game. Those who market the best, make the most money.
The hard part for some people is deciding on what business or program to do i.e. choosing a good one.
Once you know what you want to do, then you need to work it to the best of your ability.
Consistent efforts and skills are key in whatever you choose.

Fake fake fake! My opinion is if it looks to good to be true it is! I am part of this online company that is actually legit. It is a business almost like the price club or now cosco! But it deals in all natural health products! Cleaning products and household products! You get paid for gettin others to sign up and buy off the website! You do no selling or marketing merchandice just bring people to the site! If they buy you get paid! Its that easy! It is not a get rich quick scheme! It does pay well but you have to work for it!

Most affiliate programs are free to join. The toughest part is bringing traffic and making sales. This is where most people fail and cry "scam scam scam". If you are good at promoting, you can make more money without actually paying for it.
