i don't have many friends,why?

people around me always have many friends,even they were new in my lab,but they soon made friends with almost everyone in my lab.But for me ,it is very hard,i don't know why.can u help me ?

Hi yanyinyu, First of all, Welcome to myLot! I hope you enjoy responding and starting discussions here. You will find that you don't need many friends. Even if you have only 1 friend, that is enough to treasure for a lifetime. Personally, I would go for only a friend who will stick to me in good times and bad; who won't leave me in times of trouble, and will be my shelter during turbulent times. But in order to find that good treasured loyal friend, you must start with yourself. Take this as unsolicited advise. If you want to find a loyal friend, be like one first. If you hone skills, overcome opportunities and master the art of loyalty, then friends will flock to you. Happy myLotting!

Maybe you are shy? Why not smile more so that people will feel that they can become your friend. Have you always been like this? Maybe you can also start some conversations with your classmates.I'm sure you will have a lab partner. Start from there.It won't kill you to get to know them. You can do it! Goodluck!

Thanks for your response. I am a shy boy,sometimes I don't want to talk to other people actively,and as days go by,they don't want to talk to me,either.So now I realize that if I want to have more friends,I should encourage myself that I am just a normal guy as others,I can do everything that they can do.I think I would have more and more friends,include you!
