Here's my opinion. If you think you can make it work and you have things in common, including religious companionship (yes, I believe you must believe the same things in order to keep peace in your household) then it should be ok. The thing that concerns me is all the news I'm hearing lately about parents being from different countries, and when they divorce, one parent takes the children back to his/her country and the other parent no longer has any rights. There was a Dad on the news this morning whose wife had taken their children to Japan and he hadn't seen his daughters in over two years. I don't think that's right.
