Has anyone ever invented anything? Have you applied for a Patent on your invention? Have you sold your invention? Well I have, I have invented a home product and have applied for a Trade Mark and Provisional Patent. Well that is my business adventure that I gotten myself involved into. I have invented a home product and have submitted my idea to a company who has taken my idea and will sell my idea. The company I am working with has taken my idea and made the product from my sketch and then has submitted my product to a company for sales. The fist company did not want to buy my idea right now but would like to see if in the future if it has not been sold, so the company I am working with is going to submit my idea to another company. Now the process to get started was easy: I started looking up companies who take ideas from scratch and then help people sell them. There are several companies out there and I picked my company from the reviews I read from the Internet. Once I submitted my idea the company called me in less than a week. They liked my idea so much they asked me if I wanted to work with them. It cost me an initiation fee to get the drawing written up then they submitted to me a new contract that I signed for them to make the product and then they will continue to submit the idea to different companies until one company will buy it. You see I signed over 10% of my profits and have paid all the money up front so I will not have to pay any more for the project no matter how much work it takes to get the product sold. How do I know if the product will work? I made it for myself and am using it almost everyday so I know it works! Now how do they submit an idea to a company? First they target a company to submit it to. Then they build a computer program of my idea, a commercial, and how the company can retrofit there product line to make my product. Each step of the process I have to sign the OK of the product. Now I have signed a confidentiality contract so I cannot tell you what the product is but it will make life easier for a lot of people when it gets sold and on the market. Once it is sold I will be shouting it from the rooftops what I have invented. Now how do I get paid? Once the product gets sold I my get a lump sum on my idea and then royalties which would be a few dollars on each piece that is sold. This company has helped 100's of inverters get their products to market. The product can be made in different colors, and different styles so I will royalties from any form of my idea. I think it will be a year of two before the product sells. I realized that with today's economy it was a gamble to get involved in this company and pay this money which we had to borrow. Now I do not know if any of my friends believe in psychics or not but I called a psychic and asked her if she saw that I was going to make any money on this. She said yes and that it will take a while. When I spoke to my dad's wife who is a psychic about the project she said exactly the same thing. I hope it will sell and we make enough money to pay off our home.
