How many of you just love cheese?

I lived in Wisconsin for the better part of my life, so of course I was always around cheese. I love it. Cheese has so many uses, as a garnish, an ingredient, a snack and even more. My favorite cheese has got to be raw goats milk Roquefort cheese which I get from the Whole Foods markets. The best part is that it's a whole heck of a lot healthier then the pasteurized and homogenized conglomerations that most stores sell you.
So I want to know how many of you are eating GOOD cheese. If you eat a lot of "Kraft American Singles" or that ooze they call "Velveeta", you need to know that these are NOT good cheese. With those you should just eat the packaging they come in. It may not be healthier then the cheese, BUT, it's less un-healthy for you. :)

I love your description of the unhealthy cheese. It's a real kick in the pants. I love mozzarella that is real soft packed in the juices. It's hardly aged. I forget the term for it.
I love to take a whole grain fresh baked bread with Italian spices mixed into the bread. Next brush some olive oil on the outside of the bread slices. I then take some of the cheese and slice it on the bread along with tomato slices and fresh basil leaves. The smell in the kitchen is so good while this is cooking in a hot pan weighted down. The girls love it. The boys want to add meat. The girls win because we cooked it.

Me and my son just love it. Especially the 'Laughing Cow' brand cheese, which has less salt. Others, though lovable, are bit salty.

When will people learn that eating cheese will not actually make you fat unless that is all you eat. Sure, cow's milk cheese may not be the healthiest cheese for you, but it's not going to make you fat. So enjoy all the cheese your mother gives you, and in 10 years when you are still slim, you can sit back and laugh!

The kind of cheese that we have here is White Cheese or Carabao's Cheese. It's very delicious as lots of us here crave for this wonderful cheese. It's very nutritious as well and it is highly recommended by nutritionists here in our country.

Hi Grandslambert, I love cheese, but the only types that we get is from the hypermarts. So it's either Kraft, Chesdale or one of those brands. I take cheese with bread or use it as dipping for fries/chips, or bake with mashed potatoes. Or cheesecakes - which I buy from my favorite bakery.
