Medical marijuana - would you use it if it wasn't illegal and no smoking it?

Just curious as there are medical marijuana products (pressed canabis sativa seeds for the oil) available that are fully legal. Health Canada (and recently approved for sale in the US and soon to be available in Europe) have approved these products as they are low THC (less than the 10ppm required by law) and are showing to be helpful with autoimmune disorders, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc. There is no euphoria with this product, because there is virtually no THC present. But all the health benefits still apply.
They even have a pet line that shows to be helping old dogs, etc have a better quality of life.
Marijuana has been used for centuries and was not illegal prior to 1923, when big business in the US wanted the "hemp" market closed down so that they could make big money on polypropelene products (rope, twine, etc), which traditionally had been made from hemp fibre.
I understand the need for laws to "protect" the people, but I get really tired of being so overregulated that I can't make choices for myself...
