There has been alot of news on tv, online, and in paper lately about the drought situation and it makes me wonder.....what if we ran out of water? Granted it would probably take alot to do so but what if it did happen? I live in Florida and they were talking on the news about the lakes being well below what they should be and the water supply being way below what it should be. I myself dont drink too much water, occasionally I will grab a glass full or pick up a bottle at the store. But we use it to clean, cook, make drinks, etc. Our apartment complex has shut the water off a few times to fix pipes and whatever and its at longest lasted 6 hours....can you imagine if it were days? Weeks? Or even months without?!?!
What would I mix my sons formula with? What would I make ice tea with? Bathing?

We are all aware of the global warming situation and the fact that the water table is going down year by year is testimonial enough that we could be soon in a situation where we would have no usable water on Earth.
I can't imagine life without it. Forget the usage of water in things like bathing, cleaning, cooking and stuff, because we all have some or the other alternative to it. But what about drinking??
When you come home from work and are really tired, there's nothing better than a glass of cold water.
The thought is very scary and I just hope that we do not come to that day.

We had a really hard winter here in the NorthEast and it caused a hill to slide close to us and broke a water main. We were without water fot 7 days. It was TERRIBLE! I bought enough water at the store to own stock! The only positive thing I seen out of it all was when it did come back on we were a lot more conservative with it than what we were! LOL We take a lot of things for granted and when they aren't there it makes us stop and think. This just happened a few weeks ago and we are still being very careful with it. That's probably a good thing because I don't think we even noticed how wasteful we are with water
