Orkut or Facebook? Which one do you prefer?

I've never heard of Orkut, but I love Facebook. Almost everyone I know has a facebook account, which is nice. I live over 100 miles from my hometown, where I went to school etc. so facebook is useful for keeping in touch with old friends. I also think it's nice to be able to share photos on there, especially with my family who live in South Africa (I live in the UK). So, a vote for Facebook from me.

i dont know much about orkut ..so i cant really compare..but i like facebook..it makes my life easier to find my friends n colleagues.. i also friendster n myspace account.. but i still prefer facebook to stay in touch with my friends.. for networking i prefer friendster.. hehe

i prefer orkut since i have more comfortable with orkut. Also i found many of my old friends through orkut only. So orkut is always my first choice.

I've never heard of Orkut. I use Facebook but only have my family and a couple of friends on there. I'm not really into networking. I used to have myspace but not any more. I like the games on Facebook tho.

Well I don't really visit face book much although I have an id on it... So I'll obviously choose orkut. Dunno bout the pros and cons but I find orkut satisfying all my needs of meeting people. These sites are for meeting new people and getting together with your old friends aren't they ???
