Restless sleep...Talking...moving...jumping...etc.

Last night my boyfriend said I tossed and turned and moaned and groaned and talked and jumped all night long. I have a history of doing that and he has always told me that, but last night was the first night in a while that it was bad like that. I usually wake up about 2 or 3 times a night. Sometimes I actually get up out of the bed and use the bathroom or get some water or walk around for a minute before I go back to sleep. Does anyone know what causes really restless sleep??? Oh, by the way, I had disturbing dreams last night too, but I have had restless sleep when I did not have disturbing dreams or dreams that I could not remember. I wonder what causes the jumping and talking. That is what I am concerned about. The jumping and talking is strange.
