Do you ever feel like you just want to quit your job?

You go to work everyday knowing that you'll do the exact same things over and over again. Work seems to be a burden. The only reason for you to work, because it's the job that pays the rent. It's the job that puts food on your table. But how long will you let yourself be trapped into something that doesn't make you happy? Well happiness i subjective, i know. But if there is no more motivation, no zest, when you've just lost the passion...
But then again... in the middle of a global financial crisis.. what can we do but raise our glasses to the jobs that pay the bills.

I would agree that you got most of the points straight to a darts bullseye. And to tell you frankly i guess your question and your revelations speaks of how i feel about work right at the moment. I've been working in the call center for over two years now but i can't seem to get off this work because this is all that i have. I just took a part time online job but it's too early to call it quits because i'm also unsure as to how long my part time job would last. I guess i just have to revive that previous fervor and enthusiasm in working during the wee hours of the night and taking those calls day in day out.

right zedlav. I am just thankful that I am not alone on this. For now, let's stick to what we have. Perhaps soon, we'll have our time to go to where we wanna go. =)

yes, i have been through this kind of dilemna before and for 6 years and a half, i have stayed with the company and have endured all the trials, the challenges and the changes in the work shifts and many others. i have finally found myself a new work and have resigned. :) good for me, i was in a better place and work now. well, i still have to acknowledge my former work because it has helped me too in my search for the new work. :)
