My boys have been in a couplr of different sports and I am always excited to watch them. Now, my daughter is going to be playig soccer, and I am just as excited as she is. I cannot wait to see her in her little uniform and out there on the field.
Do you get excited when your kids join a group or team and you have to go watch them?

actually, my child is just 3 years old. but i can't and don't like to imagine him doing sports. i don't like him getting any sports related injury. anyway, i'd probably enroll him in arts class as his saturday classes when he gets older. he tends to deviate to this thing anyway just like his father and grandfather.

I think that your son will enjoy any activity that you put him in. Don't be surprised though if he asks one da if you will allow him to play sports. The way I look at it, kids are going to get hurt, it's just a fact of life, it does bother me when they are hurt, but I have to let them try new things to find what they really enjoy. If any of my kids came to me and asked to take piano lessons, I would do my best to make it happen. I think that if your son wants to take art classes, let him.

No offense, but you should enroll your boy into sports. How is he going to get big and build up his muscles by doing art ? I would suggest to sign him up in a sport.

I have all five of my kids in indoor soccer right now and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I have to say that it's really fun watching them learn and grow into the sport.. I have always had the kids in sports every year.. LOL!!

yeah I'm going to have to get some more soccer pics and then try and make a point to place them around the house for the kids to remember them :) My older kids team made championships and my younger ones have one of their last games this next saturday coming up. I'm excited I want to get some photos of their last games.

My oldest son, who is 11 likes to play football and wrestle. My 8 year old son likes to play soccer and wrestle. My daughter wants to play soccer, do cheerleading, and, get this, she wants to wrestle too! My 4 year old also wrestles, but not like the older boys do. I think that when it comes down to it, whether my daughter wants to do more "girly" things or "boyish" things, we will let her try it. When we watch the boys wrestle, she also sees a lot of little girls out there too. She always looks at me and says, "Mom, I can do that. Will you let me?" It makes for a busy life for us, but it is well worth it.
