Do you give the subject name first then write the content or vis versa ?

When you write an article, forum discussion or blog entry, do you write the content first then the subject of the entry or the subject then the content?? For me, I usually write the content first then name the subject of the article. If I give it a name, then I will have to constraint myself to writing specifically about that particular subject. That way is hard and take too long. What about you? Do you have a special unique way that you normally write?? Why would you choose to do it that way?

For books, I tend to write a couple chapters first...then I figure the title out. For blogs, forum entries, I tend to write the subject title first since I more or less know already what I wanna say. It depends on the matter of process, I guess. Writing books is so much bigger than regular stuff I do online, so it takes a longer process...normally focusing more on the content than the summary which is directly related to the title...and the blogging, time on forums, is quite the opposite...the whole thing's about the summary, just fleshed out, so the title is usually the first thing. Why? I dunno, it's just how I've always done it. It's easiest for me, this way...and it allows for my creativity without me losing sight of what I mean to do.

I usually would write its content before giving it a title, that way I feel that I could sum up the content with my title and it would be better suited the content.

Most of the time when I am starting a New discussion or writing a New article for the most part, I will often start the Title first and then fill in the rest from there. But there have been times where I am thinking about something and the words will just flow so smoothly I write the article and such and then have to come up with a Title later. It really depends on my mood and what I am wanting to write about (express) at the same time as well.

When I write an article, I'm usually writing to a set subject with a given title, or to a publisher's assignment, so I write content to fit the subject of the title. When I write a blog post, I have an idea what I want to write about and do the content first. The right title is very important part for a blog post because it will be picked up by search engines and needs to grab people's attention on social sites. It can take me as long to think up a good title with the right keywords as it did to write the post.

I use either way to write. It depends on the subject and how the words form in my head when I am writing. I like to many times start with the subject and then write the content. For this discussion I decided to turn it around a bit just for the fun of it. Usually, I try to make the first sentence of the paragraph be the subject sentence and write the details after that. Thank you for your question.

I preferred writing the content first then the subject. Maybe because I want to think and choose of a catchy subject.

I usually come up with the subject (title) for the discussion, and then fill in the rest of the discussion in more detail.
