do you hate it when your discussions get masked off?

alright lets say you make a discussion under making money, you post it, and about 10 seconds later someone posts a discussion under making money and now yours is no longer visible in the main pages "your interests" sortie, does that bug you? or do you have confidence in your mylot friends to add content to your discussion?

There's nothing to get annoyed with it because all of the members probably had the same thing in mind. Everyone is making discussions here and there in a notion of trying to earn something in a given day. Imagine how many discussions submitted each hour here and there is no way that your discussion will be guaranteed to be on the main page still after an hour or so. Imagine the bulk of members that this site are getting into and how many of them will start a discussion each day.

i don't mind at all.we all have our equal chances of posting here.i guess you really have to make your topic very interesting so that people will notice it right away and take part in it.active discussions tend to get more exposure i think.the only thing i do is i start discussions on those times when there are only a few people who start topics.that way,there's a greater chance for them to see my posts.

I really don't care. If someone is interested in my discussion, they would have a look at it by looking at the interest. They will look the whole page and maybe the second. If they see mine float by and reply, cool. If they don't so what, no one can always be interested in the same things.
