Do you have the habit of eating dessert?

dessert - dessert is the last dish.

In usual, we don't have the habit to have dessert after the dinner at home. However, if we have a meal in a restaurant, then sometimes there will be a dessert. It is either we order it or the restaurant offers us free of charge.

i will take desert when i am in house in evening. i won;t take deserts or icecreams or cool drinks in restaurents. i will prepare my own desert in my house and eats it in evenings in hot or cold. if the weather is cool, i will take hot desert ,or otherwise cold. in india we make so many deserts, like fruit deserts, flour deserts, and deserts with semolina.we will add milk in most of the deserts we prepare. so we can eat in hot or cold conditions. we don;t get free offers for deserts in restaurents of our place.and i don;t like to eat also outside.

Nope, I do not have that habit either. But from time to time, we do buy desert to compliment a meal at home. It is just nice to have something sweet at the end of a meal. But to do it everyday? Not very friendly to the waistline!

Perhaps it's not the fault of dessert. I have heard that married men are easy to grow "wider" Perhaps their wives take good care of them and finally these men can eat well but do less housework

Hi youless! As for desserts, my husband and I usually have a fruit each. And in restaurants, I do get to have those cakes or whatever that sounds yummy at that time. LOL! Take care and blessings to you! lovelots..faith

It's not a habit we have. Once a week or so, my daughter will ask if she can have something for dessert. It's really expensive to eat dessert out most of the time. We save that for birthdays.

By the time I have eaten a good starter and a full meal it's sometimes difficult to squeeze enough room for the dessert, I hate the sensation of your stomach too full and bulging, it's a horrible feeling, so I don't like to overeat, I know when I have had my limit and will stop, so I don't always have a dessert, I much prefer the starter, some friends of mine usually skip the starter and have the dessert when eating out, I am the other way I will have the starter and skip the dessert. Sometimes if it's sorbet that is great to slip down afterwards because it's not too stodgy and filling, ice cream too, but some of those rich desserts are just too much!

But it seems in your country, if the dessert is served at last, it will be the completed meal.

I do not make desserts at home, except for major holidays. I like desserts and sweets. I like pastry for breakfast. I do not order desserts at restaurants, but will eat a sweet if there is a buffet.

my meal would not be complete without dessert. i like sweets because sometimes i removes the after taste of the meals i had. if my lunch or dinner is spicy, oily, sour, i really need dessert to remove the taste. my favorite desserts are fruits and ice cream. sometimes i like cake, but if i am on a budget, i just eat a piece of chocolate. thanks!

I ever had a meal in a very expensive Japanese restaurant. After the meal, the dessert is the chocolate. Oh, I have to say it's too tiny but expensive
