Do you ever clean inside the cpu.

I don't LOL come to think of it, I never did! But for some reason I've never seen my CPU look dirty in the inside. It seems like the fans are doing all the cleaning. How dirty does your become in 3 months? And do you disassemble it? Or just wipe off the cases? Thanks for the response on my discussion!

before i turn on my pc i just cleaned my cpu, and its not just hot, it also covered with lots of dust.^^

i havent tried cleaning my pcu im not good at computer so i just let someone clean for me

I had my computer case off for the first time in a year and it had little dust in there. I use a soft paint brush and a vacuum cleaner. I am not aggressive with the vacuum cleaner as you have to be careful not to knock anything out of place. The worst thing is the stuff that sticks to the fans, it probably reduces air flow. I have had older used computers that were so plugged I had to blow them out with compressed air. You have to do this outside as the dust flies everywhere.

To tell you the truth, I've never cleaned inside the cpu 'cause I know little about hardware. I got totally comfused when I see the complex parts inside the computer.

yes i alwayz clean my cpu frm inside, i use soft brush to clean the fan and the dust overt the hard drive and dvd rom, i absorb too many dust inside it, it is very necessary to clean it with in the regular time prieod.

I never clean inside the cpu.I just clean the dust outside the cpu.I have an engineer to clean the dust inside the cpu when the computer gets spoilt.I used to work as a hardware engineer for a company.There i used to clean the dust of the cpu and make the computers work for the organization.

I use a laptop for myself so it don't need to clean it from the inside. I also have a desktop at my home and we make it a point to get it cleaned up once in six months or so. I never do it on my own as I am a little bit scared about any possible mishaps that might affect the system and may be myself. The same is the case with my father, who uses it most of the time. He would want to get an engineer to get the cpu cleaned up!

I have cleaned my cpu afer 7 years[:P]...I have always covered my cabinet with a plastic cover
