How long does your perfume last on your skin without overdoing it?

I have never had luck with perfumes, even the quality ones last only a maximum of 3 or 4 hours and not more than that, i really get annoyed with these perfumes, some people say that you can apply powder over the perfume in the neck area and that the perfume stays long that way, i dont have the habit of using powder, so is there any other way?

I do not wear perfume at all and it has been a long time since I put one on. Perfume is nice though. I used to be obsessed with them. Cheers!!

It's probably not acutally wearing off, you are probably actually just getting used to the smell so you don't smell it anymore. I wear a perfume that I can smell for a while after I put it on then I get used to the smell and I can't smell it anymore, but people will come up to me hours later and ask me what perfume I am wearing. Here are a few things that I do. I spray my clothes with a few sprays before showering. Wait at least 30 minutes after I shower before applying it to my body so my natural body oils can start to come back, dab/spray it on the creases of my arm and legs, as well as behind my ears, those are places where natural oils come back faster. Try layering, body washes, lotions and then perfume. Or if you really think it's just not lasting, try buying a cheaper knock of version of your brand and dab it back on later.

yeah...that has happened with some of the perfumes, where people late in the evening would come and ask me about the perfume, but i would not be able to smell any, i will try it like how you said

thats is why even i hate overdoing, i like only mild ones and so, it lasts only 3-4 hours, if at least i got a stronger one, it might last 5-6 hours
