Do you prefer a dark layout, or a bright layout in terms of the page you view?

As i'm up late a lot I would so much more prefer a dark layout of a page as compared to a bright one for pretty obvious reasons since everything around me is dark, it would make sense for the page to be dark as well. What about you, what is your preference and why?

I prefer dark layout for i think the bright one is too shine,my eyes can`t bear that.

I prefer something white, simple and clean. Not to bright and colorful.

I like bright layouts. Dark ones hurt my eyes more than bright ones, for some reason. I know that normally, bright ones hurt people's eyes... I don't know... I'm weird, I guess :P

I like the bright one.Perhaps because I'm a girl and i usually like the colorful thing.I always by pink or blue clothes.I think bright color can attract people.

I prefer darker layouts. It is more soothing to me than bright and wild colors that seem to create a lack of focus.

I like bright layouts...specially when i am surfing i prefer white.it keeps the mind fresh.the readability is much better.I like to read pages quickly and white pages help me to do that.
