The 73-year-old man who repeatedly raped his daughter

This story has sickened me and shocked me. Josef Fritzl, the 73-year-old Austrian who imprisoned his daughter in a dungeon, repeatedly raped her over several years and fathered her children. I find it cruelty of the highest order, betraying the trust of a girl-child you bring into the world. What are your thoughts about this? Have you been following the news about this story?

It is said that no one missed his daughter.Surely people knew that hi has a daughter,and someone must have wonder what is going on with her. Even his wife,I mean,she must have known something.It is not like it was a week or so.It was going for a years. Hi is a sick man. Deserve the highest punishment.

I agree, mannytwo. I bet the wife knew it all along. I mean.. how could she not have konwn about a cellar below the floor she walked on all day long?

Exactly...and I guess it was her daughter (not sure about that one),so how....I mean...it;s hard to get my head around this one.It just bring so many questions. Well,at least they have him,and all that sickness stopped.

i've heard about this. and yes it's very sad and very very sick. only God knows and only God can tell exactly what this man deserves to pay for his crimes. And only God can explain why he allowed such a monster to exist and didn't intervene to prevent the girl from experiencing this kind of pain and anguish for how many years. I just don't understand how could someone do that to his own child and I really wonder about the background of this man, the story behind his behavior. I've always been curious about the minds of criminals.

LOL, same here. Having studied psychology, such cases (and minds) surely intrigue me. I wont be surprised if somebody decides to write a book on this story

I have caught bits and pieces. This is a sick person and should be handled accordingly. He definitely should never see the outside again.

ohh he is already looking forward to his release after serving his sentence for 14 years. he'd be 88 perhaps, if he lives to see the day.. but the man still looks forward to his freedom!

Hi friend... i'm Madhu from India... just 1 hour back i saw this news in my telugu news channel... it's very cruel... to this man, the court should punish very severely... it's not only Ist time listen... it is occured recently in India also.... once we punish them severely, it shall not repeat again... thanks.

It's unbelievable,and It sichened me also.He shouldn't be her father,so cruel. Though I had heard this kind of news,but we can't believe he is 73 years old.I think nobody can bear what her father did.
