Oh my God the moment I saw this footage i felt amazed with mixture of fear. What is happening to our earth. Underwater volcano near Tonga erupts last Thursday. Please see the video. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29769097/ Is the end of the world coming? Are these signs of time?

you're right my friend had you not read the bible what would be the sign when will be the last days of our planet earth? I am sorry but I just can't figure out the exact verses of the bible. Few of those are; Unusual worldwide calamities, catastrophes, global crisis, false prophet propagating everywhere, heinous crimes and unusual crimes committed by a man. These events are already the fulfillment of the Bible prophecies, the only thing that is yet lacking is the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ... and nothing at all..

i just watched with your link. it was quite scary looking at those spews coming out from underwater. and the thing is the spews were black colored. anyways, it is the first time i have heard of underwater that is active and spewing those ashes into the sky. i wonder if that affected many of marine life surrounding it. i guess the fishes and other sea creatures has actually looked into other place on the ocean to swim to. amazing to learn that they have many active underwater volcano.

I think underwater volcanoes are erupting all the time, only the magnitude is not great in most cases. The depths of the ocean contain mysteries incomprehensible to us…it’s a completely different world down there where such incidents are occurring with regular intervals. I had watched a programme on NatGeo or Animal Planet (don’t remember exactly) where they were showing the ocean beds and there were several small volcanoes erupting continuously and have been doing so for quite sometime without any movement of it being felt on the surface.

well volcanoes are normal part of nature, and we do know that there are underwater valcanoes just as their are above water volcanoes. So this does not bother me so much. There is less destruction underwater than when they erupt on earth.

I don't think it is the end of the world. I think it s mother nature cleansing herself. Look through out history and this kind of thing has always happened.

to be honest no the world isnt going to end there has been volcano's and changing weather patterns since the world began, and there always will be. The species animals plants etc etc will all evolve same as the planet everything is evolving thats nature. The land is being eroded by the sea, but theres new land masses appearing all the time too, the us is moving as the earth plates move so to be honest no the earth is fine and unfortunatly we all have to keep going to work lol,

No, not the end of the world, just the earth doing what the earth has been doing for millions of years. This is just one of many volcanoes that is erupting at the moment. The footage of this one looks spectacular so it is getting a lot of media attention but this is not something that is that unusual.

This happens all the time and has been for as long as the Earth as existed. There have been several more spectacular than this one in my life time that were in the ocean and many on land including one right here in the U.S. in Washington state. The Earth is still an active planet with a hot core and constantly moving tectonic plates which earthquakes and volcanoes will keep happening quite often.

The earth continually repairs and rebuilds itself, it always has and always will. Like I tell my kids, mother nature is taking care of business.

OK first off calm down my friend. It has happened before and it will agian. And yes things are about to change and some not for the good. Some will be for the good. You can not worry about it. If you are buy a lot of rice and pasta. Just in case and you need candles and water. That is what my nephew did. I got him like 20 pounds of rice and pasta. My sister told me your making fun of him. I said no I'm not if that is what he believes he needs these things like he said. He loved all the things I gave him. So if you think so then get what you think you will need and don't let anyone laugh at you. You will be OK. Your friend onlydia
