what is the maximum hours that you have slept continuously

well sometime i feel that i wish if i could not awake and do my routine works.
i remember a day when i only slept and did nothing.
going bathroom, eating foods will not be counted, except it if you only sleep then you can post your no. of maximum hours you slept ever.
in my case i have slept for more than 40 hours in b/w i went only bathroom and took some fastfoods thats it.

20 hours straight is the longest I've slept without getting up. I was just so exhausted from staying up for 3 days: working on a project, spending time with friends, not being able to sleep period. Then I got really tired and just wanted to go to bed and I never had to get up again, it was like sleepy time; which is a good thing and sometimes a bad thing. In addition, I think 20 hours is my record, I really don't need to sleep longer than that, or else I'll lay in the bed bored and feeling like I'm wasting time.

Hey Xenosaiyan i think after me you are the only one who slept nearly 20 hours .
no one is still as lazy as i am or as i was.
It happened to me because there was no one at my home and i was feeling alone and just before that i wrote IIT paper in 2003 so after that i just wished to give full rest to my mind and to my body too.
i just locked the main gate and didn't open it for 2 days. my neighbors thought something happened to me and started knocking my door continuously then i awaked and opened the door else i would sleep more hahaahhahahhaah

well as for me... the longest time of my sleep as far as i know will be 18 hrs straight. That is the time that we just arrived from a 5 days trip and I am so exhausted. that even i didn't have to take my meals just to go on bed already.

There was a time I need to work continuously around 2 days. I had been working full that week with very less sleep. I think the maximum I slept was after the work of 2 days around 18 hours continuously. I think it is great to have a sound sleep. I found the value of sleep and rest only that time and thought how wonderful it is to take rest and get a full sleep.
