One of my favourite places in Budapest is the Margaret island. I think it is a wonderful place, it is full of flowers, old trees and medieval ruins and it is very beautiful and peaceful. Some of the other famous sights are the royal castle, the fishermen's bastion and the Gellert hill. I especially liked the fishermen's bastion, there are many tourists, but I think it is nice place and the view is great. I walked all the way to the top of the Gellert hill. I was pretty exhausted when I finally got to the top, but it was worth it, it is a beautiful walk. On the top of the hill there are a fortress and liberty statue.

Budapest is one of my favorite cities. Buda is one side of the River Danube and Pest is on the other side. The Fisherman's Bastion is place where you could get a superb view. I suggest taking a bath in one of the public pools. I went to the opera and the ticket price was incredibly cheap. I enjoyed riding on the trams. I got some superb souvenirs like a costume doll and a canal holder. I took the train out to Lake Balaton for the day.
