I've been wanting to buy a portable harddrive for awhile now. For those of you that have them, what kind and size is it, and does it work good? I was looking at the Western Digital ones (120 or 160gb), so if anyone has any experience with them I'd appreciate it.

My experience is with Maxtor. Save yourself money, buy a nice hard drive enclosure. Actually, they're all ok, make sure they're USB 2.0. Take a nice cheap 120 or 160 gig Maxtor, and stick it in a hard drive enclosure. Wala! Instant Portable Hard Drive!

We have a Seagate 80 gig we bought from Wally World for about $80. It works really well.
My daughter's pc was about to run out of space, and it's given me a way to move files from my pc to hers.
