About Skype

A friend of mind has been using this for a while now and she's really having fun with it. So, tonight I was giving it a go and downloaded the software. The problem is I don't know how to use it. I mean, where do you find a chat room? I get the "calling" thing coz it's plastered everywhere and there's definite instructions on how to use it. So where do I actually find people who are using it right now? hehehe. That's so weird. I feel so stupid and I forgot to ask my friend. I don't really like chatting to strangers but this might come handy when I'm bored or having a mental block when I'm writing something. Thanks!

We were paying very high cell phone bills to call family and friends that live in the STates. Since we have Skype we no longer use the cell phones . We just make our calls on Skype . Depending on our internet connection, skype usually works
real well . We live in Mexico , and picked a Texas number to be our Skype number because alot of our family are in Texas , that way for them to call us its like a local call for them
