Do you take a teddy bear or soft toy to bed with you?

I can talk about this on here, as no-one knows me! I take a soft toy puppy to bed with me, and would be lost without him (I think of it as a he). I got him free with coupons from Andrex toilet rolls several years ago. I am 49 years old - so it is a bit embarrassing! And no - I don't sleep alone, I do have a partner, but still wouldn't be without my puppy! Do you have a soft toy that you take to bed?

i have a teddy bear and a pink big in my bed,
haha,idon't think it's embarrassing, they make me feel safer when i live alone at home ~~~

Well, I think it is a very girly habit to have. I never played with soft toys and I do not take them to bed with me, but I know a lot of female friends of mine, besides kids, who do that. They even talk to their toys and it is really sweet to watch but I'm sorry, I don't like it for myself.
I might sound rude but that is my opinion. No offense meant!

I think you are right - it is a girly thing! I don't collect other soft toys though.

You're brave to admit it! I don't think there's a thing wrong with it. Whatever it takes for a good night's sleep. I have four pillows that I like to cuddle up with. After having been married 32 years, my husband sleeps on one side of our king and I sleep on the other. I haven't taken a stuffed animal to bed with me since I was a kid, but there's no reason you can't do so if you want.

well i do have a teddy bear. but if ever a person would give me a teddy bear y not. it will be a great experience hugging a bear when ur sleeping.

Yes I used to. Till my fiance was with me full time he got me this giant teddy bear that I would snuggle with when I'd go to bed. I think it's natural to want to have something close to you and sometimes a pillow just doesn't match the fluffy soft feel of a teddy bear :). I'm not ashamed to admit it I sleep with a teddy when my fh isn't sleeping with me. It's all about comfort level :) Your secrets safe with me :D

I do have two Dear Daniel stuffed dolls with me which my husband (then boyfriend) bought from McDonald's several years ago. Those dolls are very special to me because when McDonald's had those as promo for Happy Meal, the dolls are always out of stock. He knows how much I love to have them and he went from one McDonald's branch to another just to acquire those dolls for me.

Theres a few stuffed animals ON my bed at the foot but they dont end up under the blankets with me. I tend to sleep in a nest of pillows however - I'm totally at a loss and not comfy sleeping alone when theres not a pillow against my back and one at my front. I find the one at my back especially because somehow the small of my back is ALWAYS COLD.
