The 25% of our referrals tasks? I currently do not have any referrals. I was thinking of telling some friends and family about it but wanted to wait until I made payout. I know many have said it is a trusted site, but I wanted to be 100% sure for myself. I am now only .11 cents away from making the payout thanks to the tasks!
This makes me wonder if we will get 25% every time our referral does a task, because that could potentially add up to a decent amount.

Referral earnings do NOT come from tasks but only from discussion earnings.
You will receive 25% of anything that your referrals earn for discussions. So if they earn $1 for discussions you would earn an extra 25 cents too on top of their earnings, not deducted from them.
The earnings from tasks are seperate and NOT counted towards referral earnings.

This is what they said on their discussion regarding referral earnings at #55
'Tasks will be added as they are entered by our selected partners. This could meant that there are times when there are many tasks available and other times when there are few, if any, available. Referral earnings are only for myLot discussions and photos, not for tasks as tasks are posted as available by partners of myLot.'

Earnings from referrals are only as good as the referral is. Many people have large numbers of referrals but they are inactive so don't earn anything from them. I've got 20 myself, and none of them have ever earned anything for me. So don't count on them to make money for you.
Having said that,if you know your referrals personally then there is a better chance of them being more active.

Yes this is true. I was going to refer some friends, but who knows if they will really contribute and how much they will contribute. It sounds like not a lot of people on here earn much from referrals.

I was going to say probarly yes until I saw the response above by mysdianait, and of course it sounds correct, as we do earn 25% of the referrals discussions as they mention, and unless the TOS has changed I presume we don't get any percentage of the referral tasks earnings.
