I don't know if you struggle as much as I do in this area but here are some tips that I've found helpful:
1. I have set working hours so that my work doesn't dictate the rest of my life.
2. I have my own computer with anti-virus software on it that also contains anti-malware and anti-spyware capabilities.
3. I make sure to do monthly back ups of my computer's hard drive.
4. Since I work by the hour I use a program that keeps track of how long I've been working.
Do you have any tips that will also help me?

i have worked both outside of the house and freelanced at home and found that you have to really stay on top of what is going on. you have to be a self starter and be pretty focused and i think the way to do this is to have an office of your own where you can shut the door if you need to (especially if you are not working).

It is challenging to work from home but after working in the real world and comparing the 2, I must say I love it. I wouldn't trade it and all of its challenges for a real world job ever again.
