Summer is here! I can't help it, I just have to take a shower at least three times a day! You may call it a quick fix to cure the humidity of this season! Whenever go outside I feel the rays of the sun peeling off my skin! I can't think of a more graphic description than that. To think that the highest temperature this week is only 34C (according to my local weather forecast).
Maybe it's the humid air that makes me feel so uncomfortable.
I shower before I go to work, I shower when I get home, then I shower before I go to bed.

As often as you do Z....lol..but when at work one can't. But since the rooms at work are all AC-ed so I don't sweat as often as I do outside. In fact, I wear a coat at work...he he he...but really, it's soooo humid outside...like you said. Now how hot would summer be? I don't want to think about it...not so busy now , I think? cheers.

At least you have AC all the time. he he he! But, once you go out, that's another story. I don't like the sweaty an humid feeling of it. That's why I take a shower. I hope we can adopt with the weather soon! I have been having patients with cough and colds, some with skin diseases because of the weather... good news for me. LOL
Happy mylotting!
I hope to go back to writing ASAP!
Cheers!

Even I do shower 3 to 4 times in a day due to heat and sweat. Whenever I am back home from work I take shower first. Before going to bed I compulsorily take shower. I do sweat a lot so I have to take shower as many times as possible. I am imagining this is just start of the season how will I manage rest of these months? Summer are bad for me but I try to keep myself cool by shower, having juices, fruits and all cold stuffs.

Yes, hydration is one of the keys to have a healthy body, so drink plenty of water or juices. Taking a shower is a luxury that is hard for me to let go. I know it gets really hot, but, I wasn't expecting this hot! Just staying in the sun for a few minutes makes me want to drink a bucket of water! I feel thirsty even if I didn't do anything.
Happy mylotting to you!
cheers!

Now i shower twice a week because i am not feeling well.If i go to work or college i shower everyday. It keeps the germs of our body.It also keeps us fresh and active.Taking bath in a warm shower relaxes the body.It will also remove mild pain from the body.I take bath with antiseptic soap to keep germs and bacteria away.

Hmmm... I will look into the explanations you just gave. I'm sure there is an explanation why a warm shower relaxes the body and remove pain. Maybe it has something to do with the vasodilating effect of warmth or heat to the blood vessels. So the warmer they become, the more dilated they get, ergo, more blood circulating in the area.
Anyway, it is already hot here, so I wont need a warm water bath.
Happy mylotting!
Cheers!

I shower only once a day. If I shower too much, I will breathe in too much water vapor. This might lead to an increased risk of Alzheimer's.

My mistake. It isn't Alzheimer's. It's Parkinson. Long showers cause us to breathe in vaporized manganese leading to an increased risk in Parkinson's disease. It has been quite a while since I read about that. You can also find the article in www.sciencedaily.com.

Well i got allergy to sun, if i go out for some reasons in the timing from 12 to 4 in noon, i feel that my skin is burning and even can smell the burn on my hand when i return back home, im so prone to sunlight. i take shower 2 times a day i think that is enough for me to keep fresh. i rather dont find time to be in the shower for 3 times in a whole day, but if sometimes its too hot i do take 3 times but not everytime.

Hello there! I hope you have already consulted your condition with your doctor. There are certain skin diseases or conditions that need attention. Is it just dryness? Irritation? Allergy? There's a lot! Of course, we are not here to talk about that, but about shower.
It is nice to keep clean and stay cool before going to work and before going to bed. Of course, that depends on the weather where you are. Here, it's getting pretty warm and humid, I think taking a shower is cheaper than turning on the aircon. Of course, I indulge with air conditioning too!
Cheers!

Usually the most I shower is once a day unless it has been a really Warm day. Then I sometimes find myself having to take more than one just to cool down. We live in a cooler climate so most of the time there is not enough Humidity etc. to be noticed here.

What???
You shower 3 times a day???
Wow it is crazy lol, I take shower once a day but that's it it is even too much for me since i have a very long hair. But where i live has a very huge humidity so i have to do it anyways.
But there are some people in my lot different side of the world , if they read what you wrote here probably they will amaze , because some people are not lucky like we are finding water daily, or even they find it is way expensive to use that much water.
But it is a good discussion , have a great day!!

Hello zabawaus,
It took a while before I can go back to mylot. a lot of things happened. he he he. Anyway, yeah, it gets pretty hot and humid here and you'll just want to keep going back to the bathroom for a quick shower. Even with the aircon on, it still feels a bit humid. Specially when you go outside.
Thanks for visiting mylot!

Here in the Philippines, when summer comes, It gets really hot. Even here in the Summer Capital of the Country (Baguio City) starts to feel the hot summer sun. That's why I take Shower twice a day. 1 in the morning and another in the afternoon. But even its hot in here, the tourists seems doesn't feel the hot sunshine. Because there is still the breeze of cold air of pine trees.

I shower 3 times a day. It is very hard for me not to feel icky these days, especially being pregnant. Plus after you put in a days work it is a good way to relax. I think is also helps keep acne away to keep clean for those that break our easy. I do it in the morning. It helps me wake up. I do it in the afternoon after work. I do it at night. I love showers. I think they feels so good. I have to have my showers;-)

hello hustonphotography,
congratulations with your pregnancy. I'm sure the baby will look as pretty as his/her mom. it gets really hot and humid here and taking a shower is the best thing to do other than setting the airconditioner to full blast. LOL. Then again, the electric bill will shoot up!

I take a bath in the morning and I shower before I go to sleep. It is really very hot here. Even though I live in Antipolo (which is a high altitude area) and the wind is blowing most of the time, I could feel the heat more. I work from home and usually stay in my bedroom with my laptop. The downside -- for sure my electricity bill will spike up because my airconditioner is on most of the time.

You must not have air conditioning? I shower once every day, and sometimes twice if I feel hot. We have air conditioning if we need it, but it is just now getting spring here, and it is still quite chilly. I have hot flashes sometimes though, and a shower does help.

It's spring so isn't too hot so I only shower twice a week if I don't do any physical activity. But when it's really hot I do every day
