Do you take long to prepare yourself before going out?

I knew some girls ready take a long while to prepare themselves before going out. They have to brush their hair, matching their clothings, and put on the perfume and make up. Usually, it takes longer than an hour. What a hassle. Do you take long to prepare yourself too?

I can get ready in about 45 minutes to an hour if I am being quick. But if I am taking my time then it can take me about 3 hours, because I like to relax while getting ready before going out and possibly have a few drinks or something as well.

Hello clorissa123. Yes, I do take long to prepare myself when I go out. I usually take 30 to 1 hour. What I do is, before I go to bed, I plan the things that Im going to bring and the outfit that Im going to wear so, I wouldnt take long preparing myself for the next day.

Depending on what the occasion is, dictates how much time I will take to get myself ready before going out.
Getting ready usually never exceed more than an hour unless I have really screwed up my four foot long hair!
I can cut it down to fifteen minutes from the time the first toe hits the floor to when I am out the door too.
Those physical labor jobs are great because you can program the coffee pot to have a fresh brewed cup ready before you get up, just jump into your work cloths, pull the hair back, top the head with a ball cap, grab the coffee to go and head out the door.
Heavy dates is another story. Especially if it is with someone you are smitten with.
I have mastered getting ready for those. I can do it in under an hour. Ideally I like to take about one hour and forty five minutes though but can do it on one hour easy.
Dog walks first thing in the morning can take me up to anywhere from forty five minutes to one hour if the dog is sleeping in. Sometimes I have to wait for her to wake up and sometimes she takes her sweet time. I can be ready to go in ten minutes but if she is sleepy, it can take quite a bit longer.
Family dinners I can be out the door in five minutes. Especially if my Mom is cooking, Lol.
If I am going grocery shopping, it takes about 30 minutes from the time I decide to go until I am out the door because I usually like to make a list so to lessen the trips back and forth, if in another day or two I decide I need something else.
I rather shop for groceries once a week.
If I am scheduled to be out of town for more than a day, I need at least two hours to get my things together and get out the door. If it is just overnight I can do it in less than an hour.
That is about how long it takes me to get ready before going out for different functions.

I usually spend a lot of time while doing something else, thinking about what I'm going to do when it's time to get ready - so when it comes time to actually get ready - I just do it. Get it done and over with and only take longer if it turns out what I had in my head wasn't as great as I had hoped.

yeah, sometimes i am being like that..depending on the time left for me to prepare myself. If i don't have enough time to fix myself, i always rush. If there are special occassion that i really need to fix up myself, that's the time that i take longer for just preparing myself.

Not really. If I'm going out to work or shopping, it would only take about 15 minutes. If it's for a function (dinner/wedding/party), then maybe about 30 minutes.

It's good that you prepare yourself well before going out like brushing your hair, putting on the perfume and make up. Well I think the most important is the neatness even if you're not well made up. The neatness can give others a good appearance and feel better...

Not very long, but maybe it's because I'm a guy. When I have a lot of time to prepare though, I take my time in preparing just to make the time go faster.
