I was standing outside and looking up into the sky to see if it was cloudy since it was kinda nippy outside. To my amazement, I saw the biggest ans tallest tree I have ever seen in my life. (I'm near the half point of 100). This thing is HUGE. It is two houses down from where I stood. I was thinking, this would have been reason enough to evacuate from the hurricanes if no other reason. (darn I wish I had a camera). If this tree was blown forward and toppled it would take out the home in it's yard as well as half the one across the street from it. If it was blown over to the left it would take out the two houses to the left of it. This is not a tree I would want in my neighborhood. I can't imagine what it would cost to remove it. It would cause some serious legal issues if blown down in front/side or behind in a neighbor/neighbors yard. This tree is so huge it makes me wounder if it affects the cost of their home owners insurance. Can't tell what type of tree it is since it's so dark outside. (not that I'm a tree expert) but, I recognize a few). If I had to guess it's height I would compare it to our local hospital which is 12 stories high. Has anyone ever seen a tree so tall?...Or taller?

I wish I could see this tree. I love trees (and I'm a photographer - they are great for pictures). Could you maybe see if you could borrow a camera or somebody could take a picture to send you? I would love to see it.

where were you when you happen to see that tree? as far as I know, Sequoia is the tallest tree in the world and is found in America (please check my spelling). Could it be that you are referring to that tree also? Well, good for you if you happen to. Maybe, I would not be able to see it personally because i am from the Philippines and could probably have a sight of that if and when I could go to America. Wish me luck. ..
