how many books do you read every year?

Hmm..I only started counting what I read last year around August and I ended up with a total of around 80 books. Right now, I started counting at the beginning of the year, and I finished my 47th book last night. So, I'm shooting I should be able to be read around 150 books this year.

Usually around 30 to 35 or so...most are non-fiction though.

at least 2 a month so probably 24 a year...

I used to read many books. Several years ago I was involved in an MLM and read 1-2 books a month on a wide variety things from biographies of historical figures, professional success stories as well as personal growth and inspiration. I don't remember when I last read a book cover to cover. I should probably re read a few in my collection.

So far this year, I have read 43 books. Usually I read about 200 books in a year, depending on what else is happening in my life. I'm a big reader, and will read rather than watch tv or playing around on the computer. The only time I'm not reading is when I'm at work, and even then I have a book with me so that I can read on my way to work, during my lunch break and on my way home.

not even sure - are we talking new (to me) books or books i reread? i average 5=7 books a week not counting magazines and things i read on internet. so several hundred i am guessing.

Oh wow what a tough question! I really dont know to be honest with you but if I had to give it a guess I'd say 30+ in the run of a year..I love to read and I usually have more than one book on the go at a time so it'd be an easy 30+ i'd say

I read several books a week .. So maybe 200-250 a year?I am a very fast reader though, I read the full Lord of the Rings in a night as a teenager. Sometimes it is annoying to be such a fast reader .. I keep running out of books LOL

I belong to a bookclub. We read and discussion one book per month, so guaranteed I will read 12 books a year. I usually read another one or two each month. I read a lot of young adult novels, not sure if they really count... I zip through them pretty quickly. I love them.

I usually read several each week. Sometimes only 2-3, sometimes more, if they're good. So, probably several hundred a year.

Hi, I don't really keep a count, but if I average about 3 books a month, that should work out to 36 books a year! Most of these books are fiction novels, mainly crime, murder mystery and horror.

About 180 to 200 books a year. An average of 3 to 4 books a week. Chinese used to be very good reader, how come you are an exception? When I visited China about 10 years ago, the bookshop was full of people standing or sitting and reading a book. The writing skill of Chinese is very outstanding, due to the large number of books read. Have you at least finished the 4 classics once?
