I heard people say around 1 year, how long did yours take? Was it a big one or a small and simple one?

wedding - wedding is so important for everybody
When we decided to get married, we hadn't prepared for our wedding for a long time. We finished everything within three months, including taking wedding photos, buying the wedding gowns, how to hold the feast etc. It's good and I don't think we need a year to plan our wedding. I prefer we use the time to plan our future:) I love China

i think it would depend really on the people involved in the wedding, i have attended a well planned wedding that took them 1 year to plan, and also another that was planned and was done in 2 month's time. :D

5 minutes? We didn't really have a wedding; we just got married without any fanfare or fuss. It took four hours to drive to Reno, though.

Hello wondericequeen, Mine was a very quick and simple occasion . My husband came here under a month visa and so, I made all the preparations within a month. But, I did tell my mom and family that I wanted to get married and we did prepare stuff here and there, bit by bit. I really 'worked' hard towards the wedding day within a month

Well, I got engaged on valentines day and hope to get married in the summer. It will be small, we want to find somewhere perfect- an island or a beach in somewhere quite, with only a few family members present. Then we will stay there for a week or two for a honeymoon.

It really didn't take that long, as weddings have always interested me, and I knew exactly what I wanted. My husband and I were in total agreement about the planning, and he was involved as much as i was. It was a really unique and personal ceremony. it's a good thing it didn't take that much planning, because we weren't together through most of our engagement, because of his job situation. I was living in Canada, and he was working in AZ.

I had a 2 year engagement and it took me just about 2 years to plan it. I had a pretty big wedding. About 170 people. I live in New York and weddings here are just out of control and very expensive.. But they are alot of fun. My wedding compared to others here is considered small wedding
